LAGENDA 2006 with its theme 'THE LEGEND UNFOLDS' ended sucessfully last nite!!!
Many thanks to everyone's hardwork ---> frm MSA members to the MCees to the performers... otskura sama dechita minna!!
though we started off rather kelam-kabut with vry few ppl to hold the candles around for the sambutan of VIP, the event went rather smoothly after tht... huhu.... i did a fair share of running around to get the candles, etc ready.... naseb baek ader hana tolong...
then, was the time for our dance performance... most of us made mistakes in the joget part... it's expected though coz we only started learning the steps for the joget the day b4 yesterday... nways, once we got into the zapin part, everythg went smoothly... i guess the practice for almost 1mth plus paid off....
after the dance, i had a sprint to change my clothes bcoz my MCeeing part was coming up... huhu... i was sweating profusely bcoz dh cuak... thank god farah helped me out to get ready...
my 1st MCeeing part was for the silat scene... wahaha... tht part went rather badly bcoz the sound system ppl made a mistake by playing the wrong music... thank god, we somehow managed to salvage the scene...
next, i had to present farah's performance... haha... i managed to get adie-chan jealous by singing to yamapi's photo... hehe... jgn marah yer adie.... yamapi is mine.... ngeh ngeh ngeh...
then, i also presented for the fashion show, kolattam dance, bhangra, korean dance and indian dance... it was chou fun + funny.... i'm glad tht i got to do the MCeeing with sporting ppl like sham, vengatesh, lester, shahridan, narin and lauren... thanx a lot ye guys for making somethg scary like talking in front of thousands of ppl enjoyable!!
whtever it is, i'm glad tht it's all over and tht all the audiences were supporting enuf thru out the show... and i also hope tht everyone enjoyed the show... i for one, surely did enjoy my last Lagenda here in manipal... i'm sure tht this event will be part of my many happy memories of staying in manipal.... =p
