*night full of smiles*

the malaysian food festival 2006 is finally over!! me as part of msa am truly glad tht everythg went smoothly despite the initial few blunders like the tent collapsing due to heavy rain earlier in the evening.. nways, the event started as scheduled around 7pm and picked up full speed almost immediately at a few stalls.. these stalls were crowded even b4 the stall-keepers could put the food they were selling down in the tent.. and wht surprised me the most is tht, some stalls even finished selling their food by 830pm *last year, there were stalls still selling of their food at 11pm* it's probably bcoz there is lesser number of stalls and increased number of ppl going to the fest this year... all in all, the atmosphere is a joyous one with background music played by DJ Deva...

me, on the other hand, in the midst of food galore had shigoto to do...how sad is tht...i didnt even get to eat anythg at the food fest... by the time i finished my job at the entrance gate, i was tired of smiling at ppl and saying thank you for coming... plus i was upset tht all the food had finished... oh well, at least i got a few new acquaitances while doing my job there... so, the smile was worthwhile after all.. *sighs*

besides tht, i saw smiles almost everywhere i turned to.. must be tht these ppl are all very happy with their full tummy.. *and somehow, i felt good too although i didnt get my share of food... haha...* chou ureshii to see ppl happy due to the efforts msa made along with the efforts of all the stall-keepers... hopefully the coming food fest next year for the kouhais' will be a much better one with all the msa reps also being able to enjoy the food while working...
